Message from the THEN DEAN

FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PURBANCHAL UNIVERSITY

Message from the Principal

Dear Prospective Students, Parents and Guardians,

Nepal has taken a new step forward after the establishment of the First-Ever Engineering College in Nepal with a course in Biomedical Engineering. We took this burden on our shoulders to eradicate the mismanagement of medical instruments in our hospitals due to non-availability of professionals in this field and also to give the medical industry some qualified and independent professionals. In a very short time, we have been able to make the name of this college known in the academic as well as industrial circles. This was possible only due to the high standards maintained by our faculty and students at all times.

This college is deeply committed towards the mission of creating professionals, who will be self-secure and independent in their respective fields after graduation. The syllabus is so designed that students can either work in Nepal without hesitation, or can go anywhere in the world for further education without any concern about their ability to perform well.

With committed professional board members, well qualified and dedicated faculty, and modern infrastructure and laboratories, there is no doubt in our minds that we will be the best in this part of the world. Our aim is to make this college a center of excellence in academic as well as in research fields.

We are also committed to establish close relationships with all concerned institutions.

Being the Pioneer, we are sure that we will be able to lead the nation in this novel field of Biomedical Engineering with the help of all concerned. I personally encourage our young generation to take up the challenge and make this institution theirs.

It is indeed a great pleasure to state that College of Biomedical Engineering and Applied Sciences 'CBEAS' affiliated to Purbanchal University has started a new course in "Biomedical Engineering" in Nepal.

The Biomedical education, in my knowledge, is in high demand not only in Nepal but in countries abroad.

Let 'CBEAS' lead and maintain good standard education in this field for the region as a whole, so that our graduates would have brighter future in their careers either in job or in further studies.

I wish 'CBEAS' all the success in its endeavor.
